When Indira and Nick celebrated their September wedding day at The Palace at Somerset Park, they decided they wanted to go bold with shades of color, butter yellow, ivory, red, and green—and we absolutely love the result!

Indira and Nick spent their wedding mornings getting ready with their bridesmaids and groomsmen in our wedding suites. We always love the energy of a wedding morning, so it was so much fun to have everyone onsite! Once they were almost ready to walk down the aisle, Nick waited for Indira outside just beyond the doors where they shared their first look. 

One of the most wonderful things about venue is we’re able to host indoor and outdoor wedding ceremonies. Because we were expecting such beautiful weather for Indira and Nick’s fete, these two followed through on their plan to tie the knot outside. The natural light, stunning floral arch by Ritz-Walton Wedding Design Firm, wedding programs, and happiness that exuded from their guests were all standouts during this sweet time of the day. 

Post vows, Indira and Nick explored our property once more while they captured additional photos with their incredible photographer Sheronda Seawright. Guests mingled while sipping on cocktails and eating appetizers while our team put the final touches on the ballroom’s design. Tall centerpieces with more bold and bright flowers sat in the middle of each table, a four-tier cake was ready for all of the attention it would draw, and the white dance floor was set for everyone to enjoy. 

Indira and Nick were welcomed into their wedding reception, and the first thing they did was share their first dance together. Of course, this moment was accompanied by cold sparklers, our favorite! Then it was time for everyone to dine on a delicious menu, listen to speeches, watch as I and N cut into their cake, and finally join together on the dancefloor where the couple’s party got into full swing. 

Indira and Nick, it’s so easy for us to relive you wedding day again and again. What a day! Thank you for all of the ways you brightened our venue. Congratulations again!
