When we welcome clients to The Palace at Somerset Park, we’re always excited to hear about the ideas they have in mind, and today’s couple wanted to treat their guests (and themselves!) to a very memorable end to their wedding day. Without further ado, we can’t wait to share more about Riva and Chander’s spring celebration!

Riva and Chandler officially became a married duo in May. They had gorgeous weather, which meant they were able to explore so many of our venue’s outdoor spaces. But before they could capture photos, they first had to spend their wedding day mornings getting ready onsite with their bridesmaids and groomsmen. 

Once everyone was set, Riva shared a sweet first look with her dad—you can just tell how much these two mean to each other in the photos. Then it was time for Riva and Chandler to see each other for the first time during their first look! Our patio was the perfect shaded yet still naturally lit spot for this moment to happen. 

Guests arrived for the ceremony, which happened outside on our terrace. We loved watching Chandler and his parents, as well as the wedding party and Riva and her most important gents, walk down the aisle. This moment is always a favorite for everyone on our team. And it always feels even more special when a ceremony happens outside and in beautiful sunshine. 

Post vows, Riva and Chandler explored more of our terraces and gardens while captuing additional portraits. Golden hour was in full swing at this point, and the light was simply gorgeous! It was also during this time that guests sipped on cocktails, and our team put the final touches into place inside the ballroom. 

The reception featured gorgeous arrangements filled with hydrangeas and pops of lavender blooms and fun lights (take a peek at the sweetheart table!), as well as a stage that was ready for the band to show the guests a great time. Riva and Chandler spent much of their evening on the dance floor with their friends and family, which we loved to see! When they weren’t dancing, they were listening to speeches and enjoying a delicious menu crafted by our team. 

Before the night could come to a close, Riva and Chandler had one final surprise for their guests: fireworks! The sky burst into color to honor R and C, and it’s safe to say everyone loved every single minute of this incredible sendoff. 

Congratulations, Riva and Chandler! Your May wedding day was beautiful from start to finish, and we love reliving it again and again.
