A Glamorous Late-Summer Wedding | Gina + John

Although we experience multiple celebrations each weekend at our New Jersey wedding venue, we’re always excited to see all of the ways each couple makes the space their own. That’s part of the beauty of having many outdoor and indoor areas for our couples to transform—there’s an infinite number of ways to create something new. And Gina and John definitely had a glamorous vision in mind for their day!

Gina and John celebrated their wedding day in September at The Palace at Somerset Park. All of our gardens were still in full bloom from the summer, and the sun was shining brightly just for them. As a result, these two captured plenty of photos outside. In fact, the overhead shots that Tom Russo Photography captured are some of the most creative we’ve ever seen!

As their ceremony time neared, Gina and John got ready to walk down the aisle. Guests lined either side outside to await the moment when Gina first appeared, and it’s safe to say that everyone was in awe. She looked stunning! In fact, we’re still thinking about her incredible gown from Bel Fiore Bridal Boutique and bouquet by A Touch of Elegance. Both were absolutely our favorite details.

Once they were officially Mr. and Mrs., Gina and John stepped into cocktail hour to mingle with their guests. In this space, guests sipped on cocktails, enjoyed appetizers, and discovered where they would sit thanks to a modern seating chart sign.

Inside the ballroom, tables were draped in ivory linens with gold details. Centerpieces filled with lush ivory blooms sat atop each table, and a fun neon sign with the couple’s last name hung above the fireplace. We loved this gorgeous, modern design with plenty of fun details.

Our team prepped a menu for everyone to enjoy, and the couple’s DJ, Love of Music Entertainment, did an amazing job of keeping guests engaged and having fun on the dance floor. Of course, one of our favorite moments was when cold sparkers glowed to life during Gina and John’s first dance! The moment is always exciting for guests to experience, and the photos are equally as memorable.

From the time you spent getting ready to your final dance of the night, we absolutely adored your wedding day, Gina and John. We loved it so much that it will forever act as an inspiration for future couples who want to turn The Palace at Somerset Park into a glamourous space at the end of summer. Congratulations!
