In celebration of our 20th anniversary, The Palace at Somerset Park completed an extraordinary two-phase, $10 million renovation—thoughtfully transforming our event spaces while preserving the elegance and architectural character that have long defined The Palace.
Inspired by the balance of classic architecture and contemporary design, the renovation introduces refined neutral tones, sophisticated furnishings, enhanced lighting, and modern architectural details. The result is a setting that feels fresh and inviting while remaining unmistakably grand.
Phase 1 East House & Grand Foyer
The first phase of our transformation reimagined the Grand Foyer and East House, creating an elegant arrival experience and beautifully refreshed spaces for every part of your celebration.
The Grand Foyer welcomes guests with new carpeting, wall coverings, custom millwork, and enhanced lighting.
The East Ballroom features a soft, neutral palette complemented by new furnishings, elegant drapery, and contemporary chandeliers.
The East Library has been transformed into a sophisticated cocktail-hour space with a beautifully appointed bar.
The Gallery now offers the atmosphere of a stylish, comfortable lounge where guests can gather and unwind.
The Versailles Wedding Suite has been redesigned as a luxurious and spacious setting for preparing, relaxing, and celebrating before the ceremony.
Phase 2 West House
The second phase brought a striking new look to the West House, blending contemporary comfort with the signature elegance of The Palace.
The West Ballroom received a dramatic visual transformation with new chandeliers, carpeting, furnishings, and thoughtfully selected design details.
The West Library is now an intimate modern bar and lounge, offering an inviting setting for cocktails and conversation before the reception.
The West Groom Suite is an entirely new private space featuring a television, poker table, and salon station.
The Kensington Wedding Suite has been completely remodeled to provide a sophisticated and comfortable retreat before the celebration begins.
The biggest new addition: outdoor pavilions
Among the most exciting additions are the new indoor-outdoor pavilions located on both the East and West sides of The Palace.
Designed to expand and elevate the cocktail-hour experience, each pavilion features expansive glass doors, comfortable outdoor seating, fire pits, and beautiful views of the surrounding grounds. Guests can move seamlessly between the stylish interiors and open-air spaces, creating a relaxed and memorable start to the celebration.
