4th Annual Hugs for Brady Winter Gala

The Palace is pleased be the venue for the 4th Annual Hugs for Brady Winter Gala on Saturday, February 8. Hugs for Brady is a charity that is very important to us as a local organization that helps kids with cancer. After Sherrie and Michael Wells of Kendall Park, New Jersey lost their son Brady to cancer, they created a charity that works towards a cure for cancer and improves the lives of children who are suffering from cancer.  If you would like to register for the Gala, please visit the event page. The story of Judelkiss and Calvin

College sweethearts Judelkiss and Calvin met at Messiah College in Grantham, Pennsylvania. The Bronx-raised Judelkiss remembers meeting the Somerset, New Jersey-raised Calvin at a Hawaiian-themed party where he introduced himself as “Calvin Todd, member of the Men’s Soccer Team.” Her unique first name sparked a conversation that lasted until 3 a.m. that night and the romance began. After graduation, Calvin worked in Newark while Judakiss went to graduate school in Philadelphia. Smartly, Calvin proposed with yellow diamond ring the day of Thanksgiving in 2012 after seeing the show “Stomp” in New York City. Lisa and Rob: A Fairy Tale Wedding

Lisa Castaldo and Robert Alesi celebrated their love and future together during a September wedding at the Palace—with a twist. “We had a Cinderella wedding and what better place to hold one than The Palace,” Lisa said. The bride and her father arrived on a horse-drawn Cinderella Pumpkin Carriage, a lifetime dream of his. “The Palace arranged for our guests to see our grand entrance prior to taking their seats upstairs and it was unbelievable. My father couldn’t hold back his tears seeing all of his brothers and their families standing there watching him arrive with his first daughter.” As Lisa says, there were “no details left out.” There was a dove release, ice sculptures from Cinderella, glass slippers, a custom Cinderella-carved candle, and as guests waited for the valet to retrieve their cars, they were greeted by an ice … Read more
